With regards to the Result Secretary for the Under 9 league, if no one is forthcoming fixtures will be arranged but it will be friendly cricket.

If there is no volunteer for the post of Presentation Evening Organiser there will not be a presentation at the end of the 2012 season

Brian Calverley has decided to step down as the HWDJCL Under 17 "Joe Lumb" team manager
HWJDCL will not be entering a team into the Joe Lumb Competition for 2012

Junior Representative Team News

Heavy Woollen will not be entering a team in the Joe Lumb (U17) competition in 2012. The organisers of the competition have been informed.

HWJDCL Academy/Coaching News

Coaching sessions commence at Woodlands CC each Tuesday over a period of thirteen weeks (between 7-9pm each Tuesday) in connection with the following age groups:-

Under 13/12 age group 3rd, 17th & 31st January - 14th February & 28th February (five sessions)
Under 11/10 age group 10th & 24th January - 7th February & 21st February - 6th March (five sessions)
Under 15/14 age group 13th , 20th & 27th March (three sessions).

Attendance is by invitation only, which will be sent out by the appointed Lead Coaches in due course.

Coach Education Courses

Arranged by the university of leeds, are being held as follows:-
Level 1 Cricket Course at The Edge Sports Centre (LS2 9JT) & Gryphon Sports Centre (LS2 9LZ)
Thursday 1st March 2012 (18.30 - 21.30), Sundays 4th March 2012,11th March 2012 & 18th March 2012.
